Jacks Camp

About

Highlights The contrast between the harsh Kalahari and the layered sophistication of Jack's Camp is the first thing that strikes the arriving guest. A quirky, opulent camp with the charm of a bygone era, Jack's is, 'more suited, I would say, for the better class of Maharajah' - Thomas Pakenham. Jack’s Camp is an oasis of style and comfort in the middle of Botswana’s Kalahari Desert. The Makgadikgadi is truly like nowhere else on earth. Spectacular vistas, creative surprises, expert guiding, incredibly friendly habituated meerkats, unique desert wildlife, old-world safari styling and superb cuisine all come together to create an experience that is completely different to any other. Safaris Driving, walking and quad biking. Most safari guides have a degree in zoology or biology and all are trained by Ralph Bousfield. Enjoy the wildebeest and zebra migration (green season) or quad biking on the salt pans (dry season). Wildlife Habituated meerkat, brown hyenas, zebra, bat-eared fox, kudu, caracal, aardvark, gemsbok, springbok, vulture, eagle, aardwolf, porcupine, honey badger, a large variety of desert birds and animals.
