Mwagusi Safari Camp
Mwagusi Safari Camp is situated in the less frequently visited Ruaha National Park– an enchanting expanse of rugged wilderness in southern Tanzania which is a still a place more for animals than for people. It offers untold rewards to those who venture off the beaten track with dramatic landscapes, abundant wildlife and a fleeting glimpse of an Africa long-forgotten. Mwagusi is a well-established camp that was started in 1987 and is an expression of the unwavering love and passion of its owner Chris Fox. Born and raised locally, Chris Fox is notorious for his profound knowledge and experience with the wildlife, people and the land of Ruaha. He is best known for his deep understanding of animal behaviour especially with wild African elephants forming astonishing relationships with these incredibly intelligent creatures.
